When two logs are beig subtracted like log 10 x- log 10 2, it would be equal to log 10 (x/2)

Now you have

log 10 (x/2)=log 10 7

You cancel out the logs and are left with

x/2=7

Thereore crossmultiply

x=14

assume base 10 so equation can be written as
log 7 = log x - log 2 =>
log 7 = log (x/2) =>
7 = x/2 =>
14 =x
