do you guys think it has anything to do with her weight?
**I don't personally have a problem with it, because she looks like most American women, quite frankly...but you know how the soaps are...do you guys think her 'backside' played a part?

yes it had something to do with her wieght.Shes a curvy hispanic woman and they want fraile thin anorexic flat back behinded looking women like : Katie Holmes, Calista Flockhart types on the show. But thats how Hollywood is no matter what you're on its a weight issue with them .They make the ethnic women feel they have to get meth Head anorexic like Nicole and Paris Hilton looking .Its a sad thing cause they make regular women feel like they aren't good enough cause they have curves etc. So I guess looking like 12 yr old girl with no curves and etc signs of that shes a WOMan is attractive to nasty child molesting men . I like Adrianne Leon ( Colleen ) she represented for the REAL women in AMERICA.

No she did not. She is gone for 6 weeks to film a movie in Australia,and will reprise the role of Colleen. Adrianne Leon will not be back at the Y&R,as she had a falling out with them before she was fired. CBS even threatened to sue Adrianne Leon,if she were to attend the Emmy's last yr.....

Great question, I was thinking about that when I saw less and less of her on the show. I thought they may be trying to get rid of her.
To be honest, I'm not surprised, like the other poster says, they let Nina and Tracy pretty much go and we may see Gina about 1 every other month and she NEVER has a man, she's just seating people at a table or bringing them a take out bag.
Yuh, I'm not a big Colleen fan, but its not her weight, I just don't care for her attitude with her father, its disrespectful.

Of course it's her weight! It's Hollywood and that's how things operate.
I just feel sorry for the female actors that get pregnant while they are on soaps, because they have so much pressure on them to be thin! as if being pregnant isn't difficult enough, you now have to worry about weight and how quickly you can get it off.
and like you said, Colleen's size is consistent with American women, so I don't see what the problem is.
You know...a lot of times writers are gay males, and if you pay attention to Hollywood, it's the gay males that establish whats in or out for American beauty standards. Even if you watch Entertainment Tonight, those male journalist and the ones that work as correspondents are always gay, yet they are setting the standards for us women? WE as women need to set the tone and demand an explanation for Colleen's departure and WE as women need to say hell no!

I noticed her butt when she and Lillie were walking on the set of Xtreme Catwalk, and I said to myself..."they are going to let her go."
You can just tell, because that's what they do!

All of these women are still a part of Y&R. but we rarely see them, and guess what...they're all larger sized. Colleen is a cute girl, but I noticed that the heavier she got, the less we saw of her on the show.
Its just the way the soap operas do things...I guess that's why they are bringing Janna back, to balance out the younger cast members.

I think Colleen is slim,but by Hollywood standards she's fat.
I think her weight partially led to her departure from the show.But I also think Colleen's storyline was getting boring.
I think Colleen will be back in the future,but it will be a different actress.

Its sickens me to know that but I guess I shouldnt be surprised. Anyways, I havent liked Colleen since she came back. I think she is a spoiled brat. I am glad she is going but I wish it was for a different reason.

the funny thing is...if you walk outside of your door, ANYWHERE in America, you'll see way more Colleen bodies than Amber bodies and certainly more than Lilly bodies.
I think Colleen is just fine, Y&R is trippin hard!
*but Y&R is still my favorite soap!

i agree with pinky, i mean when u compared her to the other young women on the show she looked big, but she really isnt she just has meat on her bones. i didnt know she was hispanic, but she looks like a real american, i mean i am very small myself but i cant help that, but i do have curves, hollywood needs to except women of all shapes and colors, this is the reason why women feel they need to fit a standard when they just need to be natural and be themselves
