Well first off all romantic to women is usually far different from what a guy thinks of. We are more mentally stimulated unlike guys that are more visual and touh related. To win her heart spend the day with her and even take the kids along it wont matter . And pay attention to her thoughts . You can even go to a park and watch your child play as long as you are asking her questions about things that are important to her and showing that you have a interest in her feelings. I know this sounds way to simple. But really its the basis for something very special. You can lay out a bed with rose petals and light candles but if she isnt feeling like you " get her" she will just think u are after sex. If she has a hobby or a special thing she likes doing even if its sewing just join her in it. She will be over the moon and it wont cost u anything and then maybe later she will be the one lighting the candels. With women its all about the mental / emotional things!

It sounds like you have been trying to give her attention - which is great! It may be, though, that you aren't doing it in the way that she best perceives it!

You may feel like people are showing you love when they give you a little gift, or when you're able to spend some quality time together - but maybe your wife "speaks a different love language". She may perceive love better when you give her some words of encouragment, or through physical touch....

Here is an awesome book on the subject: 'The Five Love Languages". http://www.fivelovelanguages.com/ There is a little quiz on the website that will help you figure out if you're speaking the right "Language" or not!

It may sound a little hokie - but its totally true! After reading the book my husband and I realized that we read loving gestures in totally different ways!!!

Make her feel like shes the most important thing in the world to you! Dont watch tv (if you do that alot) and spend your time with her or make it a family thing if u have kids. if you could find a sitter take her to the beach if ur near one or cook her her favorite dinner and clean for her or something, just thoughtful things, Oh and tell her something about when u met or 1st started dating that shell be really happy to know u remember! hope this helps good luck!

Well don't you plan a romtaic getway. Take the kids over parents or friends house, and take your wife out and make sure she doesn't forget this. Or won't you do a second honeymoon. You don't have to fly across the world, just to go for a honeymoon. You could drive down to new york, and see the staute of liberty, and a romtaic dinner.. be creative.

Romantic things almost free.

grab something out of fridge, go to the park and go on a picnic.

make a nice romantic bubble bath for her and give her a nice massage afterward.

let her have a day to herself in the bedroom while you watch the kids. After the kids are sleep, sit on the side of the bed and stroke her hair while softly telling her how much you love her and how much you want to please her. Then make sweet love.

when you get a few more dollars, go on sexyandsensual.net and purchase somthing spicy for both of you.

hope that helps.

married over 15yrs and going...

how about date night once a week you dont have to have tons of money but alot of creativity...maybe a dinner on the floor with pillows music candlelight a bubble bath for 2. A cd of songs she likes or some song that reminds you or her of each other.

A Love coupon book that you can put exotic or romantic ideas that she can redeem when she wants.

Sticky love notes on her car steering wheel in her purse in unexpected places that she will notice and open.

The point is she wants to feel special and important think about what you did before you even went out with her and what she did that attracted you to her.

How about a simple card stating how you still feel about her, make sure you tell her how much she means to you. Maybe after the kids are in bed pop in one of her favorite videos ( even if it is a chick flick) and snuggle up on the coach. Romance doesn't have to be expensive you just have to think of ways to take time out to make her feel like she is special and deserves your attention.

Call her during the day and tell her you were thinking about her and you smiled - so you decided to call.

LISTEN TO HER - Don't just "hear" her words - really take her to heart.

Cuddle in the morning.

LISTEN TO HER - Don't just assume you're wrong - or that she's wrong - listen to her and try to find out what she's saying to you.

A love note taped to her briefcase.

LISTEN TO HER - No, you don't have to drop everything to "fix" whatever is bothering her - you just have to listen and care. Yes, it's fair to ask "what would you like me to do about bla-bla-bla, darling" but watch your tone - make sure you say that very sweetly.

Look at her dreamily and tell her how much you love her.

LISTEN TO HER - and let her dream - make plans to get her masters degree or travel to Spain or whatever.

LISTEN TO HER - especially even if you're tired and worn out from the day's work.

Just take care of everything around the house for an evening. Cook, clean, take care of the kid. Just let her relax for once.
Romance is different when you are a parent.
