It was not until the 18th century that the idea of gemstones as birth amulets became popular. The logic behind the change is obvious; ownership of large numbers of gemstones was not a practice that could be embraced by most people, and eventually it became the fashion to wear only the stone associated with one’s birth month. One legend even suggested that it is unlucky for anyone who is not born in October to wear opal, but for those born in its month, opal would bring joy and contentment and protect against diseases of the eye.
Birthstones have varied from country to country. And as people became more interested in wearing birthstones, less expensive stones have been substituted for some of the most rare gems. A person born in March could choose between aquamarine and bloodstone, while someone born in June has the most choices with pearl, alexandrite and moonstone being equally acceptable.
In our universe all light is an emanation from the central Sun. The Sun is the storehouse of all energies and potencies, the source of light, warmth and motion on this planet. There are gemstones associated with each of the nine planets. There are gemstones associated with astrological signs, days of the week, and wedding anniversaries. However, the most well known association with gemstones is the birthstone.
Birthstones conduct the energy that each cycle and season brings. It is also wise to wear a stone that will support whatever is critical or a weak point in your horoscope.
The more precious stone you wear the more strongly you will be charged with cosmic forces, which radiant out into your surroundings.
so object of wearing but for fashoion to be indicated to decide sun sign/or for ailment etc--
in my opinion.

as someone else pointed out: NOW Christians will trust carbon dating? Isn't that like taking bible verses out of context? answer: No, the Jewish community is not "abuzz" because a "suffering" messiah hasn't been part of Judaism. There is no "original sin" so there's no savior necessary. G-d can't become human, the Messiah will be human and Jews don't worship humans, that goes against G-d's orders. No one can take on the sins for another. I see this as another Shroud of Turin - VERY likely a hoax or referencing pagan influences in the new religion being formed by Paul.
