I don't know what the occasion is but you can have his favorite dinner cooking and little post it's all over the house that lead him to a gift of some sort. Like before he gets home have a post it on the front door saying go to the fridge or something, then on the fridge have a post it saying go to the couch ..you get the idea. It's like a scavenger hunt. It's very romantic and make sure to look really nice that night. Get your hair done and believe me you will have a great evening.

This is what I did a couple of weekends ago. I dropped my 3 yr old at my aunt's house for a sleep over. bought a bunch of candles (almost 20!) and put them all around the apartment and around our Garden tub. Ran a bubble bath with rose petals, cooked his favorite meal, and got a bottle of his favorite wine and had some soft music going.
We had dinner and it was great later on he watched some TV and I slipped into something sexy and brought out the warm lavender oil (then we moved it on down to the bedroom where I gave him a massage. We took a hot bath together and just sat there and talked about nonsense. It was great we hadn't done that in a while.

The automatic answer is dinner - skip that! And the ones who are saying jump in to bed - wait for that. you want romance, go for romance, but remember guys think of romance different than we do. We are the ones who like the flowers and candy, etc. A guy thinks of getting away from the humdrum and doing something he likes to do with you joining in as romantic too. Does he like to watch 'Action' movies compared to chick flicks? suggest one! Does he like to relax with a game of pool at the local watering hole? Go with him, and dress a little sexier - play up to him in front of his friends, now that does not mean being obviously wanton, it means flirt, there's a big difference! If you suggest doing things with him, so long as you are together you can make your own romantic evening.

Make his favorite dinner and put candles on the table when u eat & a romantic CD playing in the background & just talk. After dinner..take him to your room where you will ahve rose petals all over the bed & a bubble bath started for the 2 of u to have together, with candles everywhere... After the bath, maybe give him a nice massage & top it off with desert :o) I bet he will like that...as much as men don't admit it, they like to be romanced too...

Try a candle light dinner with his favorite dish , maybe some wine and some yummy dessert with lots of whipped cream. Then either a nice bubblebath for 2 or give him a nice sensual massage. He will love you for it! Enjoy

surprise him with a little getaway to a near by hotel. it doesn't have to be expensive, the change of scenery will be the nice part. you'll have to get there before him, and tell him to meet you there after work (or what ever will keep him preoccupied). make the place look really sweet with candles, run a hot bath, order take out from his favorite place to eat.
