I am getting one and i dont know if they breathe underwater or they need air???please help me before i buy

I have 8 African dwarf frogs and they are entirely aquatic though they do break the water surface as they are air breathers I put a link below that you might like to read. Hope you enjoy your frogs. Mine are very active and fun to watch

The breathe air. I have some, you will see them swim up to the surface every few minutes to take a breath. But they spend most of thier time at the bottom of the bowl.

they breathe air at the surface of the water,somewhat like bettas,but i don't think that they have an organ that they an breathe air with.they come to the surface of the water to breathse and then swim away.

They breathe air and will go up to the surface to breath then dive back down.

They breathe air, considering the fact that they are amphibians. And as far as their breathing organ, it is called a LUNG, amazing...

they go to the top of the tank for air! you dont need an air stone!

they need air they come up to the surface when they need it
