Did anybody else take the New York State globel regents exam? I did and it was really hard. I failed it. I was talking to a teacher and they said that ALOT of kids failed the test.

There's not really a curve on the exam referring to the other answerer, it's more of a conversion chart. I didn't think it was very hard. I got in the low 90s. You can check what your grade is on this link: http://www.jmap.org/JMAP/IJMAP/EarthScience/RegentsExams/0607ExamES(draft).pdf

It is only offered in June (so they say now), but I heard there is an embargo on this week's test (june 2011) because a Rush-Henrietta teacher made a photocopy of a field test and passed it on to a tutor who used it as review for her students. New York State asked all the questions on this regents and now they are not sure what to do. They may invalidate the whole test (highly unlikely) but it shows that the state tests need to go. Keep your ears open for a new exam.
