while our leather suite was in storage, something has been put on top of the leather footstool and has left indentation marks. we thought that leaving it for a while would solve the problem but they havent gone. we want to sell the suite now but i would like to see these marks gone before we do!

Try gently rubbing it over with an ice cube - I don't know if this'll work, but it won't do any harm and it is a tried and tested method of getting indentaton marks from a carpet or rug, so might work on leather.
You could also ask to be reimbursed for damages by the storage company.

get a cotton cloth, fold in half twice, run it under the tap so it is wet but not dripping, place over the dent, get a hot iron and iron for about 8 seconds then remove iron and cloth for a few seconds then repeat till indentation gets less and less... dont over do it, keep checking. and dont let the leather get too hot.

Try heating it gently with a hairdryer and massage it as you are doing it. It may help.

steam is used to help shape leather, if thats any use
