MnO4-(aq) + 8H+(aq) + 5e- --> Mn+2(aq) + 4H2O(l) * 2

H2O2(aq) --> 2H+(aq) + 2e- + O2(g) (not SO2) *5

add

2 MnO4-(aq) + 6H+(aq) + 5H2O2(aq) --> 2Mn+2(aq) +
5O2(g) + 8 H2O(l)

adding spectator ions

2KMnO4(aq) + 3H2SO4(aq) + 5H2O2(aq) -->
2MnSO4(aq) + K2SO4(aq) + 8H2O(l) + 5O2(g)
