There a very few , if any, married couples that are not interracial! My husband is Puerto Rican, Polish and German. I am German, and Irish. All Americans are made up of different nationalities. Some may be white and some may be black, but usually there is a mix of races somewhere in the bloodline!
I am pretty sure that if everyone was gay, eventually the human race would cease to exist!
So, are they equivalent? Absolutely not! God intended for man and woman to be together for the purpose of having children. Homosexuality is biblically wrong, and it isn't part of the natural life process. You aren't religious and don't like that answer? OK, ignore it, but just because you don't wish it to be true doesn't mean it isn't.
We will all come to the truth eventually. There will be a time when we are positive of God and His wrath. Until then, for all you doubters - good luck to you! My advice, live your life like He is watching, even if you have doubts! Once you meet Him, it is too late to change your mind!

I don't think one has anything to do with the other so comparing them would be hard but if you mean in terms of acceptability, I think interracial relationships are becoming more accepted but theirs still a negative stigma that is associated with it in some areas and families. I think interracial relationships are easier to accept by society than gay marriages just based on what I've seen in the media as well as in public, however so I don't think one is equivalent to the other.

It is two very seperate issues. They are not equivalent because interracial marriages though some may frown on it, it is 100% legal where as gay marriages are not legal. I personally think that the government needs to mind the war and let the americans have the freedom to marry whom ever they choose as long as they do not already have an established relationship with eachother i.e. brother/sister.

a Gay Marriage isn't even close to an Interracial Marriage! Gay is same sex, IR Marriage is VERY likely to be of opposite genders.

I do, because we are all people that deserve the right to come together and marry anyone we wish. I mean the sanctity of marriage is to be together with the person that you love. And the only time that its a mockry against marriage is when people go to vegas and get hitched by elvis or only stay married for like 20 mins and realize they don't want to be married. Worse yet the biggest mockry of marriage is people that are just in it for someone else's money. Marriage wasn't meant for these types of situations.

Bottom line is that whether you're in a gay marriage or an interracial marriage, it's still 2 people making a commitment of love to one another. Who cares what color your skin is? Who cares if it's two gay men or two gay women? Unfortunately, there will always be those fools who think it's wrong. Who cares about them. As long as two adults love eachother, nothing else matters, especially their skin color or their orientation.
SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT MAKES THE BIBLE RIGHT? TWO PEOPLE CAN'T GET MARRIED CAUSE THE BIBLE DOESN'T MENTION IT? CHRIS ROCK WAS RIGHT, THERE WAS PROBABLY GAY PEOPLE THEN, "THEY JUST DIDN'T HAVE ANYBODY TO BE GAY WITH."

They certainly are not the same --
1. gay marriage is not legal, but interracial marriage is;
2. interracial couples can have unassisted pregnancy;
3. the one contains one sex while the other contains both.
On the other hand, both get a lot of bigotry against them.

I don't and I'm bi but would never think of marring a woman marriage is for a man and a woman. Race has nothing to do with sexual preference so don't try to lump the 2 together one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.. Nice try

Politically, I don't see how gay marriage is a threat to national security. Morally, it's up to YOU to decide what's right and what's wrong. But PURELY by definition, marriage is between a MAN and a WOMAN. You can say the sky is red all you want, but it won't make it any less blue.

No I do not agree with it being equal to interracial marriage. I guess because in my eyes I think it is okay to have interracial marriage and not okay to have gay marriage. I dont think being gay is wrong....but I dont beleive it should be broadcasted that someone is gay....again I am not against anybody being gay.
