me and my brother are arguing he says that a bb gun is a real gun and i say no its classifed as a toy like an airsoft gun?????

no it is not, but if u display it , or use it in a certain way, it will be treated as a real gun by the person on the other end

No.
A gun is a piece of field artillery, and is towed behind a truck.

Literalism aside...a BB Gun is classified as a pellet gun, and technically is a firearm, although the licensing requirements are next to non-existant.

It is *not* classified as a "toy."

depends on the state you live in. Some states will say that owning a bb gun requires a gun permit. Some states state that if the bb gun is colored correctly (ie with that orange paint on the nozzle) that it doesn't need a permit.

it is not a toy ill tell you what (king of the hill) lol
but it isnt its a weapon like a slingshot and bow and arrow there dangerous and deadly if not used with respect if it was a toy then 3&4 year olds would be using them to tell there parents they want to stay up late its classified along the lines of airpwered weapon

I do not think they are real because you have to be 15 or older to you one and on a pistol maybe you might have to be 20 or older

No, because you can order them on line and don't have to be a certain age to buy one.
