It looks like about time to boot every last one of them and start anew with some reasonably intelligent moderates or centrists a few libertarians and maybe a constitutionalist or two. Just to get em back on track.

Approval rating were just as low for the previous, Republican controlled congress. Bush has been screwing up royally for the past six years -- his rating have gone from 80% after 9/11 to around 30% now, a drop of over 60%. Approval of Congress is basically the same a it has been for the past four years.

What was the approval rating 12 months ago? 24 months ago?
It seems odd that with a razor thin majority in the Senate (1 person), and only 20 seat majority in the House, that the entire Congresses lack of acceptable legislation is the Democrats fault. Weren't the Republicans there too?? The Democrats set the agenda, but not the votes.

Failure to end the war in Iraq and stand up to Bush's failed policies and also failure to want to Impeach him when alot of the public actually does want something done about him for all the illegal acts taken against the Constitution that is supposed to make us more free. A democratic Congress was voted in last November to fix things.

You need to break down the approvals and look at each party. Democrats coming in much higher than you claim.
Republicans coming in a little lower.
Instead of blaming the Democrats, why not be honest and blame all of the Congress instead. They all suck but are you too partisan to admit this?

Are you using this to say Bush is somehow acceptable? I find the poor performance of our Federal Government to be a miserable black mark on the generally decent and hardworking people of this nation--regardless of party. The approval of both Congress and the President are evidence that those in Washington are NOT representing the interests of their constituents. SHAME ON THEM ALL!!!!

You pretty much nailed it. Only I don't think anyone actually expected them to end the war in Iraq. The ONLY way this war will end in Iraq is when we win it and you can't expect democrats to do that. I mean look what they did. Tried to eliminate critical funding for the effort. ROFL, if we can't get beaten in Iraq, the democrats will do all they can to make sure we lose the war here at home. That's been their MO since the first shots were fired four years ago.

They wanted to put a troop withdrawl in the funding bill.
Guess who held their breath. Thats right Mr. Taterhead.
Don't blame the Democrats. As far as the witch hunt well
who will not cooperate with anyone. Thats right Mr. Taterhead.
Amnesty is about the NAU. But guess who is on thier hands and knees pleading for amnesty. Thats right Mr. Taterhead.
Don't you see its all a plot by Mr Taterhead so he can say hey
congress has got lower ratings then me.

It is at 26%, Bush is at 31%. In my opinion now is the time to be wondering why BOTH are low, and not saying that one is lower than the other. Both are way down there.

That's why they are trying like heck to get this amnesty crap out of the news and instead direct peoples attention to how horrible Fox news , conservative radio and the serge in Iraq is going.... Even though 40% of Baghdad is clear, Fox News is in !st place and Conservative radio brought this amnesty crap on to the front page.... See how many people are trying to attack these areas and stay away from how the Dems have failed on everything they have tried to accomplish since January......
