When I first meet a woman, if she has long hair, she automatically looks prettier in the face....maybe its because of my own prejudices, but the way long healthy hair frames a womans face just adds to her elegance and youth.

i can agree with both sides. i, too, believe that long hair can make a woman very beautiful. but there is also something about the confidence that a woman with very short hair has that i find beautiful as well.

I'm with you on this. It is for sure that many Blacks are still not as proud of themselves and their features as they should be. I and my niece have been turned away from Black owned and run hair salons because of our natural hair on different occasions and at different salons. And the people that did so didn't see anything wrong with that either! I mostly wear my hair natural although I sometimes texturize it for convenience. I have heard many Black women talk about so-called good and bad hair and it makes me sad. We've come a long way but there's a much longer road ahead for many of us. Good question.

I prefer someone whose haircut accentuates their features, whether it is long or short. Anyone can have long hair but not everyone can pull off a stunning short style with confidence, grace and beauty! I really love women who have a great short cut that shows off their amazing facial structure.
I had short hair all of my life (except a year in high school) and recently grew it down to my shoulders. The long hair gets mixed reviews, everyone says I looked amazing with short hair but they don't necessarily rag on the long hair.
I think it's more about the cut and style than the length.

No, confidence makes a woman more beautiful. You might just be more attracted to woman that have long hair if you are a man. If you are a woman, you might just be more attracted to woman that have long hair because you want long hair.

it all depends, like some women look bad with long hair and some look bad with short hair. it depends on their face and body figure.

it depends on the hair cut !!but long hair doesnt make every female beautiful like i said it depends on the hair cut !!

I would like to say no because I have short hair but the truth is yes it helps to make them pretty or softer. but I have seen alot of short hair cut's that are super sexy. I guess it matters if you want to look soft and sweet or sexy and hard..

I agree as well as most men I know prefer longer hair.
Something about short hair that ages or makes it more masculine.
