My investigation has revealed that Jesus had no concept that he was supposed to die for your sins. All that garbledy-goop was slipped in much later to cover the fact that Jesus had been assassinated by Zionist bounty hunters acting on a Jerusalem military tribunal where Jesus had been convicted for crimes against the Jews and humanity in general. Faking crucifixion to escape assassination has been around in the middle east for a long time. According to Revelation Jesus did not escape. The Jews caught on to his tricks and trapped him.

"My investigation has revealed that Jesus had no concept that he was supposed to die for your sins."

We are all entitled to our decision. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ knew full well that he was dying for the sins of the WORLD. I could fill this page with the verses where he stated his purpose was to die so that others may live, die for the sins of all, etc. However, it sounds like your mind is made up, no?

"All that garbledy-goop was slipped in much later to cover the fact that Jesus had been assassinated by Zionist bounty hunters ."
Hmmm, interesting thought and I will leave it at that.

i try to avoid opinion questions but I can't on this one. Too many times I see people making the same mistake...using the Bible as a reference for history. As a holder of an advanced degree in history who's hobby is the history of monotheistic religions, here is what my OPINION is:

1. the chronicles of Jesus (new testament) were written anywhere from 50 to 500 years AFTER his death. Only 12 were picked to be in the bible out of 300+ gospels at a series of Synods (meetings) at Hippo in North Africa, at the end of the 4th century. Of the 12, only 3 even remotely agree with each other (the synoptic gospels; Mathew, Mark, and Luke). The rest are contradictory. To wit, the only "supposed" eye witness accounts of Jesus were not recorded until many, many years after he was "crucified". And on top of that, over 300 "eyewitness" testimonies were excluded; so it is not an accurate account.

2. Jesus did in fact exist, just like Mohammed, and the Buddha.

3. Jesus was aware of the prophecies (just like every other Jew in the Levant at that time.

4. Jesus made conscious decisions to fulfill the prophecies...i.e. spending 10+ years walking around the holy land only to stop outside the gates of Jerusalem to await a donkey to ride in on. (He knew the prophecy stated the Messiah would arrive on a donkey, so he couldn't CONTINUE to walk)

5. Accourding to the scriptures, while on the cross, Jesus asked for something to drink, and his followers (repeat, his FOLLOWERS) gave him a sponge soaked in vinager. Not water, not wine, but vinegar. Why? Why give a thirsty man, someone you reveer vingar? Modern researched has discovered that the traditional anesthetic used to perfomore crude surgeries in Jesus' time gives off a vinegar smell. Did jesus take an anesthetic to give the appearance of death? good question. Although the Koran, which recognizes Jesus (or Isa) as a prophet of God, says he was NOT crucified...

It's one of the mysteries, or wonders, of christian dogma

Jesus did He prayed in the garden for God to take the burden from him.

Gethsemane (also spelled Gethsemani) was the garden where, according to the New Testament and Christian traditions, Jesus and his disciples retreated to pray after the Last Supper, the night before he was crucified (see Atonement). According to Luke 22:43–44, Jesus' anguish in Gethsemane was so deep that "his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." Gethsemane was also where Christ was betrayed by the disciple Judas Iscariot.

Zionism is an international political movement that supports a homeland for the Jewish people in the Land of Israel. Formally organized in the late 19th century, the movement was successful in establishing the State of Israel in 1948, as the world's first and only modern Jewish State. There was no such thing as Zionist bounty hunters in the time of Jesus.

It continues primarily as support for the state and government of Israel and its continuing status as a homeland for the Jewish people.

Jesus knew that He was to die for our sins i.e. the last supper, the prayer in the Garden of Getrhsemane where He shed drops of blood asking the Father to take this cup from Him, when Mary Magdeline annointed His feet with precious oil and the disciples complained,He said she does what is needed for ye shall have the poor with you always. These are just a few of the references tha Christ knew of His sacrifice and mission.

I don't know what history books you have been reading but I suggest you start using them for campfires. There isn't even any first-hand evidence for a real, historical Jesus at all. And how do you fake a crucifixion? Put down the crack pipe immediately.

Jesus knew. Read your Bible. How can you believe your investigation? Besides, the Bible tells stories, and even if not precisely true, they are there to make a point.
