Of course he will and he deserves it. He didn't break any rules. Whether you feel him to be an immoral person is a moot point because until he fails a test under the current policy then he is legit.

What people fail to do is take into account that baseball failed, not the players. The one's who are getting caught now are the one's who should be shunned. McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, and whoever else you think was juiced up did not cheat the game of baseball. Like I said people are so quick to ridicule Barry but what failed test do you have to back yourself up that he is undeserving? That's to the people who said on here that he doesn't deserve it. When we have a failed drug test then I will change my thoughts on the matter. Barry didn't fail me and didn't taint the game, the game tainted itself with a commissioner who chose to look the other way.

I know I will get a lot of thumbs down for speaking the truth but at the same time these are the same people who are not living in reality. The reality is that you can speculate all you want. I believe he probably did them but I have no proof and so I will not judge him on the matter. He is legit in my eyes.

First of all, of course he will break the record.
If you are mad about the prospect that Bonds took steroids and think it is unfair to baseball, then stop watching and following baseball. There is a possibility that every single player has taken some form of steroids in his career, and it's not our place to judge them because there were never any rules in place against these drugs. The sad thing is that people will go out of their way to criticize and shun Bonds, but when an obvious steroid abuser on their home team hits a homerun, they totally embrace that player and make believe that they should be in the same conversation as Bonds. If you're going to criticize steroids, don't target one player, target Every single player. Or, just get over the fact that there is nothing that we can do to make this era righted, and just accept that anyone could have been culprits.

Yes, unless he blows out a knee or something before he gets there. If he gets hurt again like he did a couple years ago he's done, with or without the record. With that being said, he's been fairly healthy since the start of last season so I think he'll break sometime before the end of July. Whether you think he was aided in achieving this record or not you can't take it away from him until its proven that he cheated. I agree with the rest of the world in thinking that he didn't do this within the rules, but without any real evidence Selig can't take it away from him.

No deining that he will, I just home he does it in a different staduim like the Brewers or Braves...( the teams Hank Aaron played for), so he gets booed and the crowd does it though out the whole game....would be even more hilarous...I wanna be the beacher creature that catches the home run record ball, put straw in a paper bag ( not sure what I can use... and light it w/ the ball inside and throw in into the ocean...bye-bye bonds sointeuir and memory....getting walked his whole carrer sounds good too

**On TheSaint 's comment...Of course Giambi and other players before them did it, but your always gonna catch one person not everyone...Bonds is actually the one who made the MLB look closely at the steriod issue...(because how huge he has gotten since 1995 or 1998...remember bonds used to be one of the best outfielder, a hell of a base threat...don't gimme the excuse that he got older and started to focus on power...all the fast players in baseball don't look for power for their substuite of loss of speed...they look for consistency, and tend to have better eyes for the ball...if it wasn't for the HR record he wouldn't have as much criticism...I know its kinda wrong, but if your going to break a record...you know your gonna be tested...because of the pride and value people look on at these records...( look at McGuire...he's getting the heat of it as well w/ his record he had....)...also BOnds will be the example the MLB shows for players who use enhancing drugs, sorry to all those fans to him, but its true, some one has to spark it & be the example, just sorry its Bonds and his record....

**Yankee Rock comment....Your kinda arkward for say since your a fan of the yankee...the best team there is in baseball, why would you want people to stop following baseball, because of the steriod prob...I'm a fan of their in NY and that doesn't seem logical..You can't criticize every player because that'll ruin the game...this prob has to slowly disappear, Bonds HR record will surely put fans in grief and show that theres no fame in steriods...how can you complain...all the big time leaguers like Giambi, McGuire and Bonds are all under the mircoscope...what difference does it make when a small time player like Andy Phelps (on the yankees) take any perfomance enhancing drug, when he sure aint breaking any records or effecting game outcomes..NONE..so why put him under the scope...when you have to pay more attention to some one threating one of the most valued records in baseball...

The real question is, what team will he be playing for when he breaks the record... ESPN mentioned yesterday that there are trade rumors from the Giants because they want to get a player with a little more mobility in the outfield.

Do you mean within the next two months, this season, by next season? Seriously, of course he'll break it the only question is when will he break it. And it's good that he'll break it. Shame on baseball for sweeping the steroid problem under the rug for so long. Bud Selig is getting what he deserves.

Which record?

He's got a small chance at catching Rickey for career runs scored. A remote chance at catching Aaron for career RBI.

I think pitchers should just stop pitching to him. If he walks, he walks. In response to to what team he'll be doing it for, I think it'll be an AL team if anyone's willing to take the risk. He's a DH at this point in his career.

what i think he should do is when he gets to 755 just retire that would just show that Barry has some class even though he used steroids
