It seems that everything on hear that I read that has to do with Republicans and Bush there is nothing but childish name calling and crude remarks. I understand not liking the party or the man but why not discuss it in a manner that has less hatred, instead of taking that approach on the issues.

Sweetie, there's plenty of that on both sides of the aisle. So why not ask, "Why so much hatred?" instead of limiting it to just liberals?

I can't tell you how many times I've tried to make a legitimate point in a rational manner, only to be called some ridiculous, made-up name by a right wing extremist.

I have not met a liberal yet who wanted to discuss the points or issues, just the hatred. they will vote for a bad democrat before they will vote for a good republican. I don't know if this applies to all of them, but the ones I know have said this. the ones I know are not rich so I assume they want wealth division because they think they might get some of it. There are some wealthy liberals out there. do they really want to give their hard earned money to the "unwashed masses"? Maybe I just don't understand the liberal point of view. If they would express it instead of the hostility, maybe more people could see their points and understand their positions.

It SEEMS that way to you because you don't pay any attention to the facts and reasons liberals give.

BTW, apparently you also never notice any of the hate coming from the right.

(I gotta admire that, as there are massive outpourings from the right -- completely mindless hatred spewed almost continually; how you fail to see ANY of that is indeed a wonder.)

It's not a question of not liking him.

He is responsible for nearly a million deaths.

He's responsible for the torture and rape of tens of thousands more, and the homelessness of millions.

He has betrayed both his country and every notion of human decency.

Repeatedly.

Even gleefully.

Why DON'T you hate a mass-murdering, torturing, raping, thieving, lying, utterly corrupt traitor to his country?

Why don't you ever notice the facts people cite in their attacks on him?

Why don't you notice any of the mindless hatred spewed by the right?

The fault here is not with liberals.

Well, as a conservative that cannot stand the man, i agree with you somewhat. But there are more conservative trolls here then liberal. All you have to do is look at some of the answers to your own question. as a conservative who dislikes bush, so called conservatives have called me every name in the book. So it goes both ways, and right now on YA, there are many more so called conservatives doing what you are talking about then liberals.

Well it has gone beyond liberal hatred now that he went and betrayed his conservative base as well. But you are correct he should be held accountable for his policies and actions, not just called names. On the other hand considering how the Republicans have acted while they were in power, Bush's administration especially, they are in no position to call for civility in politics since the Rove political machine has taken over American politics has gone from the gutter to the sewer.

Why so much hatred toward Liberals and Democrats from the Bush Administration?

Bush isn't running in 2008, so what's the point of having Karl Rove, a political consultant, in the White House?

Bush needs him to do his job, which is to smear the opposition.

I would venture to guess that Drew Bloods response would give you a clue as to why liberals voice their opinions too.

AND

Its hard NOT to be passionate when 3500+ Brave AMerican servicemen and woman have lost their lives over this stupidity brought on by George W Bush.

Very rarely do I say Bush. I respect the office of the President and address him as such. With that said I do not have to respect the man and I don't. When I see thousands of Americans in the cesspool called New Orleans after Katrina and FEMA nowhere to be found for days and our President having the audacity to say, nice job Brownie, it makes me angry. WMD's, wrong. Comprehensive immigration, wrong. Open borders, wrong. Big business backer, wrong. Massive spending, wrong. The conflict in Iraq, wrong, wrong, wrong. When he does something to deserve my respect, then he can have it.

I've noticed this too, it's probably because on a global perspective Europe and other countries on here tend to be more Liberal than the US so you have the whole world ranting and name calling at Republican/Conservatives.
It's kind of annoying. I guess it's sort of a liberal thing to do. I notice that more Demorcrats are outspoken on here than Republicans about their opinions.

See Hillary O"Donnels answer -- Childish name calling...and this is just one of many from the right. Right Wingers have made careers out of childish name calling -- the stock and trade of Coulter, Hannity, Limbaugh, et al. Their miions on YA follow suit. TThey came up with this "liberal hatred" stuff which is just one example of the right being guilty of the very thing they accuse liberals of.
