I'm going to have to go with the ever-popular Friedrich Nietzsche. His stuff is pretty accessible but VERY dense, with lots of layers. I try to make some of my own work the same way. Good stuff.

Not sure. But my fav scholar and philosopher critic extrodinaire is Sir karl Popper.
In criticising both Plato(on the
right) and Marx (on the left),he singlehandedly showed that
also present mass politics can be criticised too;easily,thanks
now to sir karl.
