Yankees. They are by far the best. They have one 26 World Series and many more to come! 2000,1999, 1998, 1996, 1978, 1977, 1962, 1961, 1958,1956,1953, 1952, 1951, 1950, 1949, 1947, 1943, 1939, 1939, 1937, 1936, 1932, 1928, 1927, 1923!! As you should be able to tell i am a huge fan. They have one of the nicest stadiums. When you think of New York you think of the Yankees. GOOOO YANKEES!!!!

The team that is PLAYING the best right now, is the Yankees, bu tI think the best team is the Tigers. They have the Gambler, Kenny Rogers, returning to the starting rotation on Friday. No team can beat the Tigers starting pitching, Bonderman, Verlander, Rogers, Miller (pick one form this list - Maroth, Robertson, Durbin, Miner for the 5th spot). Whoever is not the number 5 starter will be moved to the bullpen to shore up that weak link. Plus, lets not forget, no one can hit with teh Tigers either, they lead the majors in runs scored, first in batting average, 3rd in HR, 1st in extra base hits, 3rd in OBP, 1st in SLG %, not to mention the best hitter in Magglio Ordonez, he of the .370 BA.

I would have to say the Angels are the best right now! Just look at their starting lineup from last night! The top 6 hitters are all batting above .280 and they have injuries to a few guys who are also hitting up there to! They have the best pitching staff they whole way through from starters to the closer and the play great defense. Watch as they will win the W.S. this year! Just remember you heard it here! Bet the house! (Barring any major injuries of course!)
