my sys specs are evga 7600 gt, maxtor 160gb sata2 hdd, 1gb ddr2 667 mhz, 1dvd burner, 1 floppy and zip, modem, 2 5'' led case fans 1 3'' case fan, pentium d 830? 800fsb 3.0ghz dual core, artic frezer 7 pro cpu cooler, nforce 4 570 slit a v5.1 and plan to upgrade eventualy to 2 7600gt's sli'ed 2 300gb hdd 8gb memory c2d e6600?

Your Pentium D 830 is a 130watter but the E6600 is VERY EFFICIENT and just draws 65 watts max. 7600GT in SLI mode draws 95 watts.

Even a 430W power supply unit (PSU) with dual +12V rails could meet the needs of your current and future set up. BUT then, a higher rated PSU usually runs cooler, lasts longer and gives you a lot of elbow room for upgrades. You should be fine w/ a 500W PSU that has a total of AT LEAST 30 Amps on dual +12V rails.
