You can start taking the pill. It will prevent it from coming this weekend. Just take it from the pill that says todays day on it and coninue until your event. After your event you can stop taking it and your period should come, either right away or in a couple of days. I did this and it worked fine.

Ask your doctor. I believe there is this type of injection to stop your period for a while. But be warned. The next time your period comes, you might experience cramps.
The birth control pill do not stop your period. It stops your ovulating. Which means that there will still be all the blood, but no egg in it. The birth control pills is what its name implies. BIRTH control. Not period/menstruation control.

was this someone who said you couldn't a doctor or someone on the side?...I was able to take birth control during my cycle and it kicked in after my cycle. but birth control doesn't fully work until a good 3 months after taking it exactly on time everyday. So if you want to take birth control just to stop it for this weekend. it won't happen. Now, I don't know what event you got going on, but apparently you don't want to have your period, They do have cups that fit inside the vagina so you won't have a tampon string. otherwise...nature calls on its best.

Don't take 5, my God you will mess yourself up good! If you start taking it now you might be able to skip your period, but its not a guarantee, or even a probability. If you took two the first day you might have a better chance, but don't take more then 2.

It stops for a quick whilst in water, yet whilst she gets out it could pass back to the standard cycle. The water would not supply up the bypass. Her era probable merely ended day after immediately, the water does not have brought about it.
