If she cheats and he didn't, hells yeah he should get part of her half. And if the guy she cheated with knew she was married and the relationship was fine before him, sue him for alienation of a affection.

The way the laws are are just simply messed up. They have always looked at the wife as a weaker person in yesterdays sociody. Thankfuly today though the laws are starting to change. My addvise to you is to get a real good attorny, and collect all the evadice you possably can aginst her, and good creditable wittnesses are always a big help, just make sure that they are not your freinds or realtives, that just won't hold up in the court of law. Good wittnesses are, people you, or your dad, or even were your wife had worked. Your naebors also are good witnesses. Others would proftionals out there like docs, consalors, teachers, mailman. And don't forget that you do need to sapina them to court or they the court won't listen to them. I've seen men take these steps and got almost everything out of the divorce, and left the woman empty. But of course it also depends were you live too. Some states like California always side with the woman.

The funny thing is, I don't know of many guys who would go after her assets...instead, even though she is at fault, she goes after his, and wins in most cases because our laws are ****** up. Oh ya, and if you have kids, and the wife is a drunk slut who can't hold a job and the husband pulls in 100K and has a perfect record - she'll still get custody in most places. How's that for screwed up?

why you are getting divorced is not an issue these days...most states do not deal in "fault" divorces anymore.

How assets are split depends on the state you live in.

You would think, but I doubt it. That's not the way the family law is set up in most states.

She could cheat (or be crazy or a drunk or whatever) to ruin the marriage and in most cases she'll still get 1/2 your stuff PLUS you get pay her alimony.

Great laws we have in this country isn't it.

If anyone ever told you that life is fair they lied. Assets are not just hers they are yours too 50/50 split of all assets. Sorry.
