... and now there's a wierd rattling sound when the car's on and in Park. It runs just fine, there's nothing wrong, I just want to know what it is. Nothing big or something bad? It's not loud, but it's very noticeable.

It's only happened twice, both this morning. I noticed it when I parked the car outiside my friend's house and I noticed the rattle. I turned off the car and restarted it and it was still there. Once we got going, it was fine. So, what is it?

Inspect the area around the front of the engine to ensure all bolts & brackets are tight.

the drive belt tensioners are a common source of a rattle on these engines. it may not show up until it's disturbed. when the conditions are right for it to occur, turn your a/c on and turn your wheels hard in one direction and see if it turns into a chirpy knock or rattle, if so the tensioner is probably bad.
