couldn,t find any regulators within 100 miles but we did manage to get a door with electric window. someone told me that you could get a switch & hook it up. does anyone know what they are talking about & how to if hook it up if infact you can do such a thing? help

Not the same thing. Power windows use a motor and big sector gear to power the window up and down. Manual windows use a crank to crank a sector gear up and down. May or may not be the same sector gear.

Remove the mechanical winder & tracks from the junk door. Remove the electrical unit from the replacement door. All the holes necessary will be in the power door to allow easy installation of the mechanical parts. May have to bolt in regulator because it was previously riveted.
