I never said anything about global warming being "man's fault". I think some of you are reading too much into my statement in a politically partisan way. Don't put words into my mouth I never said.

Let me clear something up to avoid all the inaccurate assumptions of what my beliefs about global warming are.
I'm neutral as far as global warming being more of man's fault or not since there's no solid evidence to prove it either way.

1 - Global Warming is occurring. Not many people "debunk" current temperature measurements. The hypothesis that it is mostly man-made has not been proven. There is no "geological theory" in that.
2 - Nobody knows how old the earth is. "Fundies" speculate, so do scientists. Most religious people do not believe the hypothesis that the earth is only a few thousand years old.

Through out history the religious establishment has been posed against Scientific fact. Issac Newton was considered a Hieratic for his embrace of the theory that the earth was not the center of the Solar system. The Actual scientist that formulated that theory was burned at the stake. Riddled through history these kinds of free thoughts and Ideas have been rebuked and capitally punished by Ideologues. Personally I embrace the thought that the earth is millions of years Old and the first day was an AGE of millions of years not a 24 hour period. I do believe there is a higher power but he doesn't seem to be in as much of a rush as these Ideologues.

Well its not that they are hypocrits. The fundementalists are not the ones using the earth is millions of years old argument. The religious right use the "god made it so it can't change" argument. The "new conservatives" are not the religious right. They can accept science in the new ideas. They are just trying to promote thier world view and to force change toward that end.
The funny thing is that the science arguments are good for us. It's the ones demmanding that everyone fall in line behind man made global warming who are stamping out scientific debate. They may be right and there may not be time for debate but that is the debate so lets keep it going, quickly.

What does God creating the world and everything in it, how does that have anything to do with the pagan Lefts lie about global warming? We (the Christians) know the global warming IS going to happen, just not the way you claim. It's going to get a LOT hotter. You will find out soon enough.

Your question presupposes something that's not accurate. Your term "neocon fundies", supposedly meaning neocon fundamentalists, is grossly inaccurate, and shows that you have bought into the myth of the current definition of a conservative.
A neocon is not a fundamentalist. Far from it. Neocons are former liberals, who still believe in many liberal ideas--particularly where moral issues are concerned. Many of Bush's chief advisers have gone on record as saying that they are ok with abortion, sodomy, etc. There is nothing fundamentalist about that position.
Bush himself, of course, is certainly not a true conservative either. If he was, he would be in favor of limited federal government, securing the borders, and limited spending. He has shown himself on the wrong side, from a conservative point of view, on all of those issues.
Conservatives, and Christian conservatives, are not opposed to science, as long as it is not junk science. Global warming is junk science, but the media has managed to shut down intellectual debate on this issue, merely maintaining Gore's party line about what he apparently thinks the issue is all about, and his desire for more government--both on the national and international level.

Number one, why do you care what Christians or anyone else believes? It amazes me that people actually expend energy on this.
Number two, I think there is something to global warming but not in the way that you think. I believe the scientists who say that weather is cyclical. The Earth warms and cools in cycles and sometimes those cycles go on for many years. There has been proof of prior little ice ages, as well as previous periods of severe heat and drought. So, I do not buy into the gloom and doom of those screaming, "We're all gonna die.......!!".

Im a conservative republican. Actually evidence shows the earth is billions of years old. somewhere around 4.5 billion i think. Global Warming is a natural process that would have happened even if we werent here. Now this is what i believe but you may believe what you want because we are still not 100% sure what the cause is and how much of a change is going to happen.

No one ever said that the Earth wasn't created millions of years ago. Man has no hand in Global Warming. Maybe we can blame dinosaurs for the Ice Age.

For your information most conservatives don't believe the earth is 6,000 years old. That is just silly.
Also I believe global warming has a lot of bad science behind it, I have looked at the science and have to say the methods used in the field of Paolo-climatology would never hold up in any other field.

"We have never understood the conservative obsession with "debunking" the science behind global warming. Most conservatives seem rather embarrassed by the anti-evolution wing of their movement that peddles intelligent design. This pseudo-science crowd is for the most part locked in the attic of intellectual conservatism, rarely allowed downstairs to soil the pages of the more respectable journals.
But with climate change, it's different. Conservatives have become seized with the idea that global warming is, in the words of Senator James Inhofe, 'a hoax.' "
