Here's what I know. When I hit the starter, the bike will fire right up (as long as I have the choke all the way out). If I attempt to give it any gas while in neutral it kills, if I attempt to put it into gear it kills, or if I attempt to put the choke in at all it kills. I've added some seafoam to the gas, I've even removed all the gas and gave it new (along with more Seafoam) but I still get the same results. I've let the bike idle for 5 or 10 mins without doing anything, and it still does the same thing. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks,
Mike

Either the sidestand is down or you're switch at the sidestand is defective. End of story.

The carbs need to be cleaned.
The pilot jets in the carbs are clogged with bad gas.
The pilot jets are the slow speed jets (for idle speed).
That's why it will only run on choke.
The choke circuit adds additional fuel to compensate for the lack of fuel going through the pilot jets.
There is no gas additive that will clear them.
The carbs have to be removed and dis-assembled.

Take it to the Yamaha shop. They can fix it.
