#1 reason: They would have to admit they were wrong.
This is hard to do for people who think they are right all of the time, as well as believe that it shows weakness to change positions on an issue.

The liberal media is undermining there efforts and the hard work being done by our troops. President Bush said in the beginning it wouldn't be easy and now when it's been tough all the liberals are crying that they want to stop but then what about the Iraqi peoples who want freedom and justice and don't want to go back to there terroristic ways?
Establishing a democracy in the middle east is a brilliant idea and Iraqi was the perfect place to do it since Saddam was an evil terrorist that none of the other evil terrorists liked or got along with so the liberals need to get a backbone and support our troops as they go forward with the mission to spread peace and freedom in the middle east.
Remember that democracy is God's gift to us all and we must share it with the rest of the world and not let the evil terrorists keep us from sharing it.

It's not just the Republicans who should be ending the Iraq war, the Democrats have also voted for founding the war. The first step towards ending the war would be to stop founding it which both parties need to do.

All you need to do is, leave the Military alone and let the Generals run the Military. You tell me what good does it do to have the Politicians fly over to Iraq and observe something they know nothing about

I would say b only to the extent that the American people do not have the will to win the war. They are not willing to fight a total war, or to fight the war at all costs.
Why can't the Dems pull the troops out?

h. They will end the war when they feel that they have established somewhat of a democracy and have put Iraq on track. Um...that could take decades especially since our own country is f-ed up.

Watch what alliances Iraq makes as quickly as we are long previous. (Iran) Who has expressed desire to wipe Israel and united statesA. off the map. we could see how your ineffective Messiah does then. Bin encumbered and Kadaffy are purely 2 insane people out of tens of millions who help their targets.

h. War is a long-term solution.
Why can't the Democrats who entered Congress in 2006 change the direction of the Iraq War as they promised to do last year?

They have NO leadership abilities, unless you count their ability to lead lemmings off a cliff.
3500 dead, 30,000 wounded in action, wrecked stability, Osama is still out there, Cheney is a chicken draft-dodger and Bush couldn't fight his way out of a girlscout meeting.
NO ABILITIES....except failure!
