yes, MLB policy on steroids is a joke, they do not enforce it and if they would there would be very few players left, why would you single out a player no matter who he is because of the use of illegal substances. And also these illegal substances change every year, what you use this year may be illegal the next year. Bonds may not be the most charismatic player but he sure kicks *** he should be on the hall of fame

Yes, of course he will be elected to Coopestown. He is the greatest home run hitter of all time...almost...by August he will be the Home run King not Hank. He is not the greatest baseball player of all time though that would be Peter Edward Rose...the real "hit king". The so called scandal regarding his roid use is silly.Anyone who doesn't believe he belongs in the hall of fame is either jealous and a hater or doesn't know much about baseball. Personally I think he is an *** but as a baseball home run hitter...he's the "BEST EVER" !!!!!!

Nothing hurts more than to answer this question. Unfortunately, yes. Ugh! Glad that's over with. Look, the way Selig and baseball messed up this hole drug enhancement thing is Bush-league. George W. Bush-league. But it's done. They screwed it up. So -- innocent until proven guilty. We have another O.J. Simpson situation here: everyone KNOWS he did it, but the system failed. Bonds would go in anyway if he were judged by his pre-'roid record, so, without his doing something really stupid in the next few months or year or two (we can hope, can't we?) he goes in.

Thanks. Now I HATE myself!!

no, and here is why.

without steroids, bonds would have been a hall of fame player, no doubt. but the steroids distorted his stats. there is no way of knowing if his stats would be the same throughout his carrer. mattingly, on the other hand,( if you dont know who he is, he was a great first baseman for the yankees who got hurt and ultimately ended his carrer) also had hall-of fame stats. but his carrer was too short and it was not known if his stats would be the same if he kept playing, so he is not in the hall of fame. bonds, who screwed his stats by cheating, should not be allowed if matingly can't.

No he is a rotten ,good-for-nothin, old, greasy, faggety son of a gun, HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO GO TO THE HALL OF FAME! Second of, Barry Bonds has a newer, improved bat. Hank Aaron had an old bat. It's simply not fair. Just like Hank had a newer improved bat than Babe Ruth, So Aaron passed Ruth.NOW DO YOU GET MY POINT?!?!?

Yes. In America you are innocent until proven guilty, and since Bonds is yet to be proven guilty, it's just wrong to keep him out of the Hall.

Even though I hate him as a person (he is a 'roid freak), I think yes. He deserved it before he put on the 60 lbs of roid weight. His stolen bases in the beginning of his career and his almost unhuman batting average more then qualify him. He has done a lot for the game and he has brought a lot of interest to baseball.

Yes. Not sure how the balloting would be, but it may not be unanimous, even if he surpasses the record.

If he does have positive test results, then they can reject his induction and ban him from the sport for life.
