Cantaloupes, like other vining crops such as cucumbers, pumpkins, squash and watermelons, require pollination for fruit set. This means pollen must be transferred from the male blooms to the female blooms
Good pollination is essential, not only for the number of fruits produced, but also for the sugar content of these fruits.

No you don't have to buy another one. Just by flowering it means that it is going to produce the fruit. Just be patient, and within a few days a small cantelope should start to appear. I have planted them, and honeydew melons for years.

Have you seen any bees or wasps around the flowers? Have you seen any flowers?
With the melons you need pollinating insects to create a fruit because your vine has male and female flowers that depend on these little sweeties to produce babies (the melon). If you haven't seen any of the pollinating insects then the flowers have not cross pollinated. However, if you have noticed them then my guess is that it is probably still too early to get fruit. Mine has not set fruit yet and has only begun to flower. Good luck

You don't need another. What is happening is that the plant is sending out male blossoms to attract bees. The female blossoms come later. Keep an eye out. Only female blossoms make melons.

It might help, because some plants need another to cross polinate.
