I have a derivative arbitrage strategy I would like to trade. I'm looking for 50-100K and can pay a high level of interest (~10-15% per annum) Should there be losses, if I create and borrow through an LLC, will this effect my credit rating. I understand finding someone to loan the money may be difficult because in essence I am taking no risk.

Sure. But if your LLC has no assets to use as collateral, be prepared to sign a note where you personally guarantee the debts of the company.
