Sounds to me like your husband is a jerk.
You probably can't delete the phone numbers from the bill. However, you can print it out and cut the paper and then rescan it. You have to be good though.
Have you tried calling your phone company to see if there is a way to block the calls from that number? Reported the ex to the police? You should be doing that.

In order to edit Adobe PDF, you need the full blown Adobe Acrobat software which costs several hundred dollars.
Sounds to me like it's not your phone bill that's the problem but your Husband. He obviously does not trust you and, forgive me for saying so, but trying to 'hide' the calls from your Ex is not exactly the right way to go about creating that trust. If your husband finds out you have been editing your phone bill to hide the numbers, what do you suppose his conclusion will be?
Better to tell the Ex to stop bugging you and then just ignore his calls. If he persists in calling you, speak to your service provider and ask if there is something you can do about a person who keeps harrassing you.
If you ignore his calls, the phone bill will probably show the calls went to Voice Mail or they will show up as 30 second calls - hardly enough time to carry on an illicit phone sex affair....
Educate your husband - give him a reason to trust you - tell the ex to get lost - speak to the phone company about a harrassing caller.
The truth is always the best answer. Don't complicate things by hiding the calls from your husband.

I used to work for Verizon and now work for another company where I use Adobe everyday. If you ignore the call from your ex it wont show up on your monthly bill. The only way it would show up is if you answered your phone. The whole point of that bill is to log all calls where you use minutes. Adobe files cannot be changed. Its basically a copy of a document so the only real way to change it is if you have some kick *** programs like "On-Screen Takeoff"

Incoming calls that are not answered don't show up on a phone bill. SO , this is a lie. NOW why would you lie about something like this on yahoo answers??? maybe because you know that your husband monitors your Internet activity and will stumble upon this question.... making you look innocent... or..... making up this story so that we will help you.
You can't alter a downloaded phone bill... this is to prevent fraud. If you want to change your phone bill you will have to scan it in and change it in photo shop the re-print it.

those records are there for a reason. if you're not answering the phone calls i don't even see why the number would show up anyways unless he's leaving voice mails. in that case you could just play the vm back to prove you're not answering. if you have nothing to hide, then don't worry about it.

If you aren't answering you should be able to show him that on the bill. it will say wether you answered or not or that the convo was 0 mins long... unless you have something to hide.. otherwise you cant do it most bills are in PDF's

Call your cell phone company and have a block put on his number. He will not be able to call you anymore.
