I am doing an I.T course and have been asked to give personal reflections on configuring a browser (in other words I think it means what is the point in doing it, benefits, that sort of thing) I really don't have a clue how to answer that, would someone be kind enough to give me their personal reflections???? would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks x

Hey Relax....I dont get it why are you scared in something that looks for me pretty simple....Ok lets start with the browser....Wich one....Explorer, Netscape, Motzila....any other...whats the problem, All of them has their own property comand where you can chang all preferences, visualization aspecs, security issues and so on....For Ex at IExplore...Go to tools and check Internet Option voila you will get it....Now Im alittle confused Are you traying to Deal with brousers or With OS...remember that Windows allow you to do changes in visulaization and customization...is that waht you want....

bye

As far as changing browser colours (I presume you mean the window outlines, text etc) you need to look into the Desktop option within Control Panels. Here you can choose from several preprovided schemes, or adjust one to suit yourself, including changing text, font size etc.

If you mean changing stuff like buttons and so on, you'd be better looking at skins and so on that you can download for the like of firefox etc.

Hope this helps

I use the plain Internet Explorer; home page is Google.
But it does have both Yahoo & Google tool bars.

Go through the options available & tell what you would
change from the default, & explain why or why not.
I wouldn't touch colours, but you may want to match decor.
Do you use History to select some common sites?
How do you manage your Favourites, Links, etc.?
