Check connectivity on the wireless connection. If you have too few 'bars', try moving the laptop closer to the router.
Laptops do not "decompose'. After all, they are not made of biodegradable material. What may be happening is that you are getting little "spyware' or adware programs which are filling up your memory. They are more irritating than dangerous, but it's best to clean them out. YOu already have Adaware which is a very good antispyware program. Also get Sybot Search and Destroy. When you run these, BE SURE TO UPDATE THEM. There is a button to update the "DAT" files in the program so be sure to do this every time you go to run it.
Next, consider all the programs which run in memory but which are unnecessary. Click STart - Run and type Msconfig[enter]
On the STARTUP Tab you will find all the programs which run in memory when the system is booted. Called TSR (terminate and Stay Resident) many of them are useful and some are not. You can go down the list and check each of these out at
www.processlibrary.com.
Those processes which are necessary such as your AntiVirus Scanner or a driver for your Digital Camera can be left alone. BUT if you find an odd one (one you never installed or do not require) or even a spy ware component, you can disable it by clicking on the check box and getting rid of the check. Click OK and then Reboot your system. The program will not run. (Note: if a program stops responding correctly because you got rid of it's TSR component, you can simply go back into Msconfig and re-enable the component.)

There are two know issues for computers freezing. 1. Program's are trying to share the same allocated memory space. 2. Hardware Drivers have become corrupt. Overheating will normally shut a computer down, until the microprocessor cools of. This is a default protection built and designed right into the microchip.

Used to have the same problem. I don't know how I fixed it, it just worked itself out. Install all your updates and see if it works itself out in about a week.

Try renewing your IP address and
try flushing your dns.
Press the start button:
go to the "Run" box, type cmd and press enter.
A black box will appear.
type this: ipconfig /release
then ipconfig /renew
after that, try this also in that black box also.
Ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
I hope this helps.
good luck : )
