I have a tray of Jiffy 7 peat pellets that I recently purchased and several packs of flower seeds. I am a novice. How many seeds do I place on each of the little circles? Please advise. Thanks... :)

Any time you seed you should put two seeds just in case one does not germinate. If both seed germinate then you can pinch the weaker one off a little later. The peat pellets are nice. All you have to do is soak them in water until they expand and then poke your seed in according to package directions. Each seed has a certain depth that you will find on the back of the seed package. Watering is nice too because all you have to do is add water to the flat and the water will be absorbed from the bottom through a process called wicking. I should also add that you should check when starting the seed is recommended on the back of the package because it is a little late to be starting most seed. Good luck and I hope this helped.

The first secret is to use warm water to get the pellets to expand to full size before putting the seeds in. You will need a lot of water.
The number of seeds per pellet depends on how crowded you want your flowers. The roots will get VERY intertwined & cannot be separated, so they will have to live like that.
I've used the peat pellets but only for starting vegetables, 1 seed per pellet. Flowers are another story & up to you.
