how do i move my taskbar from the side of my desktop to its default position on the bottom?

Just use your mouse and drag it. If it doesn't drag right click the taskbar select unlock . then drag it

Click on the bar and hold down the mouse button. Drag it back to the bottom. Release the button.

If it does not want to move, rightclick on the bar and go into the properties. Make sure the bar is not "locked".

Click in the middle of the bar with your left mouse button and drag it to the bottom of the screen.
