I have Connected Them Via A Cable, Then What Should I Do, How Can I Transfer Files?

wow, your not going to get much help with your question. You didn't supply enough information. What type of cable do you have connecting the two computers? USB or Network Cable?

If it's a network cable, your going to need to set the computer up to access a "workgroup" and your going to have to specify which files you want to share. Your also going to need a "cross over" cable if your doing it pc to pc.

It depends on what operating system you use.

Windows XP to Windows Vista - Belk Transfer Cable
All other Windows - Detto Technologies

You can purchase these transfer cables on line at their websites. The Belk cable can be found in a lot of stores. The cost is about $35.

In order to plug two computers directly in to each other you need a crossover cable, it is different than a standard ethernet. Otherwise you need to network them through a router.

the best way is to email them from one computer to another. and then save them onto the newer computer
