i have been getting my eyebrows waxed since 7th grade and i love it! it is so much better than plucking because it is faster and looks cleaner. the first time i admit was a bit painful, and almost feels like a slap or something. it is only painful for like 5 minutes at most and itsnt really a bad pain. your skin may be red after for awhile but it isnt bad. also, some places are better than others at waxing.. the first place i went was way more painful, and my new place is almosdt relaxing. but it really isnt bad at all!

The first time for most it will hurt pretty bad. After awhile your skin will toughen up and it won't be so bad. If you rub a lotion that has Aloe in it on your eyebrows afterwards that will help ease the pain too. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for four years now, and I'm doing it on my own now, it's really easy, and I don't even feel pain anymore.

The first time you get your eyebrows waxed it hurts, but after the first time it feels like a little pinch.

i suggest threading instead of waxing. too many people have had bad experiences with wax. ex: rashes, skin was ripped off, wax was too hot, also if you're going to do it, make sure the person doing the waxing uses new wax and applicator coz u don't want her dipping into the same wax she's used on other people. too many salons do that.

oh and threading doesn't hurt as much as waxing.

Stings a little, but the long term effect is worse! Apparently the skin around the eyes is extremely delicate, and constant waxing and pulling of the skin can lead to damage of the skin, which in short, causes wrinkles!! My sister is a beauty therapist and she told me!! I pluck now... :)

it really depends on how sensitive you are to pain. have you had anything else waxed? that should be an indicator. moreover, for me waxing hurts less than plucking because they just pull it off all at once.. so it hurts everywhere, but then nowhere, none of that slow torture stuff. good lucK!

It is kind of like ripping a band aid off. It hurts for a minute, but then its done. They will put a soothing lotion on to help with the redness and any pain. At most, your eyes may water from the quick sting, but you'll do fine.
