It is extremely unlikely that one will speak out, protest, demonstrate or work for equal rights when one is worried about being "discovered."
It is only when one leaves such fears behind that one can truly feel free, and can work more devotedly towards justice for all.

As long as we cower in a closet, afraid of what others think or how they behave towards us...our rights as HUMAN BEINGS and Full and Equal Citizens is continued to be put on the back burner...our lives are continued to be deligitimized and our families denied basic protections afforded to all others....

Obviously these two idiots before me haven't bothered to wise up to the over ONE THOUSAND RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS AFFORDED TO OTHER LEGALLY RECOGNIZED COUPLES/FAMILIES!

Unfortunately many that live in the closet would be great role models and leaders in the gay community. Due to biases that exist in our society many of these men and women must stay closeted or risk hardship. ie, loss of job, loss of business etc
