all of that is just stupid and people being abducted by aliens are even more stupid than they are liers. i do believe there is life on other planets but to believe that aliens abduct people from their homes in spaceships or teleporters is some science fiction fantasy bull. people need to get a life and stop pretending that they are different and special in some way

People experience lots of things that they cannot objectively explain. The huiman mind needs to classify experiences though, so it makes up an explanation that fits with the world view of the person who has the experience. Some people think they've seen UFOs & aliens, some think Angels, some think ghosts. Ultimately, people see something they can't otherwise explain, and attribute a guess as to what it might have been.

The same holds true for alien abductions. There is a physiological experience in which it feels like there's a weight on your chest and you can't move. During this experience, you may also "see" shadowy forms around you, and "hear" strange sounds. Some people think this is a demonic attack. Some think it's an alien abduction. People interpret it in terms they can understand.

On the other hand, some people *might* experience something else entirely. Though I'm not inclined to believe in alien abductions necessarily, that doesn't mean that I have evidence that it didn't happen.

Excuse me but crop circles really do exist. Did you ever consider that these aliens are actually spirits that are here to, maybe, help one see another dimension, to show another way, to start thinking outside the box you feel so comfortable in. Ever consider that it's that kind of thinking, going along with the herd that has limited you. And by the way, every one is special and everyone does have a life, just because you don't understand it doesn't make it any less of an experiance for those you consider to have no life. Life is everywhere, start enjoying the wonder of it, crop circles and all. It's a wonder if you quite picking it apart and think you can understand everything. Life is a mystery, isn't that GRAND!

they're not pretending, it's very probable that if there are life on other planets that they'd be more advanced than our race and that they'd want to learn more about us through experimentation perhaps even. We do it to animals, they might do it to us too. Really, it's not that hard to believe. True, most of the alien sightings and most, if not all the crop circles were man made and fictional many have admitted to it, but there are a portion that has never been able to be explained, maybe that fraction is the truth. It's completely probable that aliens have abducted humans because they were curious about us and have abducted cows and whatnot, it's not necissarly fiction. You need to realize that it is possible and be more openminded about it.

We were talking about that in my sociology class the other day. People that believe in Ufo's aliens etc are called Scientologists. I have an article about it with me so ill list some key points;

xThey believe the crop circles are there to show the landing place for scientologists coming frm outer space.

xthey belive aliens attached themselves to humans and are at the root of global problems. If you research on scientology you'll find more information on this subject. They basically believe it because its their opinion and thats just their belief.

Because they had experiences with them and don't know why so they will most likely label them as Unidentified Flying Objects and crop circles. So actually people believe that flying objects they experience are unidentified and weird circles on a field crop circles. This does not mean that they are real yet but it does mean that they believe they seen them but cannot identified them hence the name UFO.

I think it is fun, and gives life new dynamics.

What would it be like if everybody would believe in exactly the same thing about everything?

I think it is great there's so much diversity that there is people who think that aliens spend their leisure time collecting corn from our fields to use it in their microwave ovens when watching our movies from their UFO's. At least they don't leave all the dirty bags on the floor as others do.

:D

I believe that UFO's created crop circles because crops are a farmer's livelihood and he would not destroy his crops just for media attention. As far as space alien abductions go, I have my doubts too.

Why?

Why do some people believe that 2000 years ago, a man walked on water, was nailed to a tree and came back from the dead?
People like to have something to believe in, and they tend to choose the things that make sense to them, or fit their view of the world. As long as their beliefs don't affect your life, why do you care?

A majority of crop circles have been proven to be hoaxes; a few of them are unusual and defy easy explanation.

Experimentation with visual interpretation and reliability of witness' subjectivity have shown that pre-conceived beliefs have an effect on perception and that group hallucination is a real phenomena; some phenomena was sighted by intelligent trained observers and verified by other independent witnesses.

If there are people (too many actually) believing in an omnipotent omnipresent guy who, according to them, and without ANY sort of tangible evidence, created everything in 7 days, I see no reason why there shouldn't be people believing in something tangible and undeniable as crop circles;)
