In my humble opinion, God of War 2 is better than the first one. The graphics and textures are more sharp, and the environments and characters are more detailed.
The use of more colors help to display the powerful hardware (although some people state that the PS2's hardware is getting old) the PS2 possesses.
The story is much better and several new Bosses have been included in the game.

As good as the first one, it's alot better as in fighting wise, other than that, God of War is alot better.

it is a great game, but i feel the first one is better. Never have i been stuck on a game so long at the part of the 100 kratos' w/ the hardest difficulty

I think it's better. There are more weapons, the graphics are great, you get to ride a pegasus, and it's a bit harder. I just love it.

yes! some could say its better, game sequals are'nt like movie sequals.
