call my gynocologist about tips on using these dilators for vaginismus?(he recommended using a candle but I don't use candles I bought the dilators on vaginismus.com), and see if it's supposed to hurt or put enough pressure far enough it won't hurt? If he won't help me should I get a new gyno? Suggestions? I know most of you have no clue about this.

It's very difficult to find a gynecologist who understands and can treat vaginismus.
If you bought the dilators from vaginismus.com, did they not come with instructions on how to use them?
It will be discomforting for you when you first begin to use them. Your muscle is not used to intrusions, and it's kinda sensitive to penetration. So, use lots of lubricant, and stay on that first size until you can slide it in without thinking about it. When it goes in with lots of lube, but not a lot of discomfort, you are ready for the next size.
Also, try joining the Yahoo group primaryvaginismus. There are women there who are a better support network for you than some of these people on answers looking for their two points.

Use the dilators with some 'personal lubricant'. Set the scene, like you would for intercourse or masturbation.
Make sure you are relaxed and try to get aroused with masturbation first. Only use the sizes that don't cause discomfort.
Make sure you use the largest you can tolerate several times before you move up to the next size.
Suggest you use at least once a week in 'dry spells' of your sex life.
If you still have problems, see a certified sex therapist.

You have the right to ask your doc anything related to your gynecological health. Most of the times docs have nurses who can be quite helpful when you ahve questions of this nature. If you are unsure of the instructions he has given you in the past call for some clarification. It's your body and if you ahev questions you have every right to have them answered. If he will not address these issues with you, I say it's time to look for another doc.
