I would check with 4h clubs, the kids need things to practice on, or give to a place like helping hand, good will..churches?

to be honest im not sure if you took it to a consignment if you would get anything. If it was vintage or a just a pattern you liked, you could frame some of them and place them around your craft or sewing room if you have one. Thats what im going to do with my grandmothers patterns, i have vintage ones and also what she sewed frame those.

If you know the Yahoo group of your local freecycle group you can list them on there. We had a box going around our list for a while and everyone would take out what patterns they wanted and add a few that they didn't need anymore. I think they ended up with someone who was decopaging a sewing table for her mom.

You can also give them to Goodwill. Some people like to collect old patterns and they will spend hours looking through a bin of them.
