is that like the worst sin, is it worse than killing? or is it like the only sin, and the other "sins" people made them up, because they thought things were wrong, and they tried to invent some new sins, but the "original sin" is the only sin,? i don't know lol i'm confused.

Many devouts believe that the "first or original sin" committed by man was eating of the forbidden fruit by Adam. This belief has been passed through generations until present. Millions have been made to believe that the original sin of Adam is being inherited by every human being on birth.

I believe the original sin was Eve (followed by Adam) eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge.

Paying taxes is the original sin. No, actually biting the apple in the garden of eden is the original sin.

The original sin to my knowledge occurred in the garden of eden when Eve was tempted to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When she ate the fruit and then gave it to Adam to also eat. This was the original sin because God, who had just finished creating earth, all living things as well as Adam and Eve had commanded them (Adam & Eve) to eat of any tree in the garden, except that of the tree of knowledge of good & evil. Therefore they disobeyed God, and sin was introduced to the world. Hope this clears things up for you, you can also read the first book of the Bible; Genisis, it explains the whole thing in greater detail.

The concept of "original sin" is that every one of us starts out with the stain of sin on us when we are born, because of the very first time a human being sinned - when Eve and Adam ate fruit from the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden. All of their children, therefore all human beings, "inherited" that sin.

If you believe in original sin, this also means that you have to do something to be forgiven for original sin or you are in trouble with God. Basically, even if you live your life perfectly and never commit a sin yourself you are still charged with a sin because of what Eve and Adam did with that apple.

Some people believe in the doctrine of original sin and some do not. In many Christian demoniations, it is believed that Jesus died to earn us forgiveness from original sin. Thus, by being baptised and becoming one with Jesus, the original sin is forgiven and then you are only responsible for those acts you actually commit.

It was disobeying the one and only commandment God had given to Adam and Eve. God told them they had the run of the Garden of Eden and could do anything they wanted to as long as they didn't eat from that one tree, but they just couldn't stay away from that forbidden fruit.

Some people would like to tell you that knowledge is a sin, but that's just an excuse for criticizing intellectuals. Knowledge is not a sin, but disobeying the rules is.

Well there's a movie called that but the "Original Sin" is when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit (the apple).

When people talk about the original sin they're talking about Adam and Eve and how they partook of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Some believe that it is the sin that falls on us, but I believe that I will be punished for what I do wrong, and not what my greatgrandfatherX832 did.

'You shall have no other gods before Me This is #1 So it is very important.
