If your school is blocking myspace, they're probably using websense and have added myspace to their filter.

You can try a proxy, which will grab your myspace pages and pass it through their server. The proxy site, acts as proxy.

You will have to search for a proxy site that works, because it is truly a cat and mouse game. Meaning that as soon as you find a proxy website that does work, your school will probably add the site that works to thier list of sites to block.

You can try and use a proxy top site to find a site that works. They will usually update their list, saving you the time of having to search for a working proxy.

I did a yahoo search and I found a few proxy list sites:

Good Luck!

If it is blocked and you access it (even through a proxy site) you will probably get suspended or expelled because you violated the Internet Usage Agreement you agreed to before you even began using the Internet there. I highly suggest just waiting until you get home to get on MySpace. Please do us all a favor and pay attention in school, I know I don't want the future generation to only know about MySpace!

Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

There used to be a site for surfing anonymously on the net. I have successfully gotten around filters that way before. They usually won't work for everything though. Also I believe most of those sites charge now. One that comes to mind is anonymizer.com. I'm not even sure if they let you surf from their site like they used to. I just checked it and it looks like they're selling a program now.

The best way to access MySpace is to simply have your own means. Go down and buy yourself a cool looking SideKick. A cell phone is always a good thing to have because your parents can check up on you etc. In addition to that, you can still check your emails and talk with your friends etc.

1) Try a different browser - like FireFox/Opera/Safari - it could be just the browser url filtering is set in the IE group policy

2) Below is a list of proxy's to try, just in case not all of them are blocked

3) It’s also possible to parse MySpace and other block websites thru language translation tool and let these tool served you the translated page of MySpace, hence duping network packet filtering and blocking system. However, the effect won’t be good, although most intelligent translator will know that the page is already in English, and won’t done any translation on it.

4) Install a proxy on your pc at home, and connect through it

Otherwise, I'm stumped on how to get around the blocking ;)

You can use this proxy site:

http://www.unlockwindow.info

It works really well. If for some reason it doesn’t work it because the administrators catch on and block them. If/when these get blocked you can get the latest list of new proxies here:
http://www.freedomnetwork.info

Also you can sign up for proxy blast and have the latest proxies sent straight to your email:
http://freedomnetwork.info/list/?p=subsc...

Enjoy and tell all your friends so that they can enjoy them too!

You can't, and if you tried they would find out, because people sit in a tiny room watching to see where you go on the internet and block all the sites you aren't supposed to be on.
