I prefer the scroll down thingy in the middle of my mouse. Just wanted to ask a question on a much lighter subject than my last question and this came to mind. Sometimes when I use it though when previewing a question here, it scrolls my question into the wrong category. Know what I mean? What the heck, it's easy points for you!

I prefer to use the scroll button on my mouse. Its more convenient and I can click other things at the same time without checking to see if my cursor is on the up/down bar on the side of the screen.

Using the scroll on the mouse is so much easier (in my opinion). Not having to move the mouse to scroll pages just makes things much easier to follow.
It's not so bad when looking at web pages, but when having to scroll through spreadsheets, etc. moving the mouse to scroll and then moving back to the data you want to look at can be a real pain.

Well I have a laptop so i dont exactly have a scroll thing, but I like how on the side of the mouse touchpad if u move your finger up and down its scrolls and on my old computer i used the scrolly thingy also. i think moving it to the arrow takes to long, haha. best answer maybe?lol

I much prefer the scroll wheel to clicking the arrows because you can scroll anywhere on the page, whereas the buttons are small and only in one place.

I prefer using the scroll bar on the side but instead of clicking on the little up/down arrows, I click between the arrows and the gray (on mine) slide bar. when you click one time, that pages down a full page for easier use... but that's me, as I have very big hands and manipulating the scroll wheel isn't very comfortable for me.

Ha, i exploit the arrows....... the buttons are stubby, however, so it is not common :0] Oh, that stinks- i've got not got a mouse (trackpad) so i does no longer understand what to do..... bake it some cookies and ask properly for it to come again out? lol :D

I love the scroll button on the mouse.
When you have chosen something on any webpage, just click somewhere neutral on the same page to disable the scroller for whatever options you were looking at previously.
I hope you understood that. lol
