I believe strongly that Jesus would vote Democrat in today's USA. Why? Well, the one time Jesus showed fury in the Bible was when he chased the moneychangers out of the temple. And he didn't condemn the prostitute, but spoke against the hypocrisy of the religious leaders. He never mentioned abortion, either, and he said "Love thy neighbor," for example, the Mexicans.
Most people who vote (R) have some kind of hatred that motivates them. It's either hatred of immigrants, hatred of blacks, hatred of liberals, hatred of other countries, or disdain for the poor. The only children they care about are the unborn, but when they are born, it's sink or swim.
Others who vote (R), that really have a reason to vote (R), are the super rich, who benefit so much from GOP policies, and NO, they don't always create more jobs. They're more likely to buy more property and charge higher rents.
Back to Jesus, though, I think a lot of fundamentalist Chroostians would be surprised if he were to speak to them about today. He probably wouldn't even mention gay marriage; he'd be more concerned with the greed, hatred, hypocrisy, violence, and exclusive attitudes of people who say they follow him.
He'd be killed today, too, if he came here to teach, and it would be by right wingers.

He would be an independent. While he would be against abortion and against gay marriage, he would not be for making them illegal. While he would be for helping the poor, he would not be for government mandated handouts. He would be conservative in economic policy as he is against extreme capitalism. Above all, he would be very passive. He would show compassion for everyone, but not force people to do things that in his eyes they should. He's a man of forgiveness.. But most definitely would not align with any party.

Republicans believe in prinipals and ethics. As does Jesus. Simply their views are similar so he would be a republican. But Jesus would also be too good for party politics and probably just go on and preach God's Word.

Jesus would be an anarchist. He wasn't a fan of organized religion which the two parties have essentially become.

Neither. Glad to see most people here were not baited into answering such a divisive question.

There is absolutely no historical evidence that a man named Jesus Christ ever existed. Not one example, except the work of fiction and mob-control called the Bible.

How he voted or who he backed you'd never know. Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's. Render unto God that which is God's".

Jesus would probably be in independent.

Who knows. I guess he would likely be an independent as there are vile things in both parties.

Jesus would be a liberal democrat. He was worried about those who are unfortunate, and very tolerant of different lifestyles.
