I took my Cingular (now at&t) to New Orleans during Katrina in '05. I was the only one out of our group of 85 that had a signal. I was bugged to death to use my phone. I'll stay with them...the rollover minutes are great too!

I have two phones one is for biz and the other is for my personal use.

I use T-mobile and Verizon.
For me, Verizon, is the best, by far! Rarely ever had a dropped call! Their web service is a little slow too. But, again I've always had web service.

With t-Mobile. I have more dropped calls. The web service is faster to use. But on what seems to be a weekly occurance... I sometimes can't get on to the 'net for hours!

Sprint -- great reliable phones and good service plans. but there customer service in store, on the phone and on line suck! Everything else about them is good! They are reasonable and SOOO easy to nagotiate with!!! Like my brother his phone charger broke and we tried to plug it into the wall cause we didnt know it was broke and it like blew up and kicked off the breaker... and we went in and say -- it was a bad charger, blew up and could have burned our house down. lol and they gave us a new charger and 15 free downloads (games, ringers etc.)
But, the phones themselves are the best out of any phone company we have been with (nextel, cingular and verizon) -- sprint phones and plans are the best but veither verizon or cingulars customer service is the best.

Verizon - Not to good when we are in the northern part of lower Michigan. They don't have any towers in that area so you have to roam to find a good connection.

Verizon for us. They've never disappointed us. Great plans, excellent coverage. In fact it's other relatives with other providers whose calls get dropped.
