I own a transmission shop, and we often put too much fluid in one, and have to remove some. We got this little $10 hand pump at the parts store that works great. Remove the dipstick, run the tube down into the transmission, and pull back on the handle. It will suck the fluid right out of there in no time at all. It also works real well for installing oil into manual transmissions, and rear ends. Was the best ten bucks we ever spent. It will pull about 1/2 quart of fluid per pull on the handle, and you can put it into an empty fluid bottle to measure how much you have taken out.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Did you overfill the transmission? Here is a quick trick to removing the excess fluid.

There are two transmission cooling lines that go to the radiator. Loosen one and put a drain pan under it. Start the car and the transmission will pump out transmission fluid. Stop the engine. Re-attach the cooling line. Restart the engine and check the transmission fluid level. if it is still overfull, repeat as needed. If you pumped out too much, add the correct amount of +3 or +4 fluid (NOT DEXTRON)

If there isn't anything that looks like a drain plug on the bottom of the transmisison (if I remember correctly, there isn't), then you have to take the trans pan off. Before you do that, make sure you run down to your local automotive parts store and get a trans pan gasket and filter. Don't get a cork trans pan gasket because you can over tighten those and it will not seal! Make sure it's rubber. If you only need to drain a little out, the I'd stick a hose down the tube and try to suck some out with either a hydraulic vacuum or something. But make sure not to take out too much. You check the trans fluid with the engine running and in neutral.
