searching_please is right. 5' 8" is the bare minimum. Some agents won't take anyone under 5' 9"
Unless you're still growning I'm afraid modeling may not be in the cards for you. You can always try anyway, you may luck out with some face or hand modeling. The big agencies have their requirements and submission info right on their websites. Ford, Elite, etc.
Good luck!

5'7 is fine, however depending on whether it's print or runway is what makes the difference. My daughter is 5'10 and does both .
I keep telling people if their really interested in the field the most important thing they can do is to get exposure. ANY kind of exposure! Then make sure you create a good portfolio, to show that to an Agent. At 19 it's a really good age, but seriously my daughter is the same age and she is going to college as well to get her degrees. Watch out for the obvious warning signs, like when they ask for $$$$..You will need to have a photo shoot done, along with Comp cards, they're expensive so be prepared.
Oh and Agents prefer Face Cards, with your stats on the back......5'7 is a good height and YES you can find work being that height, just look at the Models in J.C Penney...They're not 5'10.....

I hate to tell you this, but at 5'7, you're going to have a hard time. I am 5'7 and while it's a great height to be out in the "real world", very few models are this short! Usually, they won't take girls under 5'8.
Good luck! :)

Look in newspaper want ads for models. But beware, if they want you to pay anything at all, it's a scam. Also, look up addresses of big modeling agencies and send in your photos. Also, look for talent agencies in your area and sign up with one.
