Why can't people get over the fact that Rush was addicted to prescription drugs? It happens to a lot of people unfortunately, and it was 4 years ago!!! What's the reason for this?

The liberal left hate what Rush has to say so they slander him anyway they can.
Yes Rush was addicted to drugs, but he did EVERYTHING according to the law in order to make a mends for it. That is why I respect him, because he made a bad decision and he sought to make a mends for it the best he could. Its called taking responsibility for your actions.
It's a lot easier to slander someone because of their actions than it is to argue against them.
Notice how many of them say how stupid he is, and how dumb his listeners are. But then they never explain why he's dumb or what the disagree with him about.

During this period of his abusive addiction, he was regularly blasting others for their abuses and wayward behavior. When his story came out, suddenly he did not like being the 'exposed victim by a over zealous legal system running rampant in America.' Personaly, I have very little ot no respect for this man. People still hold him accountable for it simply because he has yet to apologize an admit he had a problem.

did he make amends by continuing to break the law and use prescriptions that were not in his name? This was AFTER the oxycodone incident. Now, the reason many still bring this up, is because many on the right like to STILL think they are the moral majority, and that liberals are drug abusers, etc...so it helps to point ou the hypocrisy from the right...because so mant forget what happened 4 years ago. Funny, they remember EVERYTING that happened during CLinton's admin...14 YEARS AGO.

Once an addict always an addict. Rush presents himself as high and mighty and he needs to be taken down a couple of notches. His illegal drug use makes him human and fallible

I can think of a million reasons to criticize Rush Limbaugh. I'll just give you one.
Let's see...he referred to drug addicts as 'scumbags' while he himself was addicted to oxycontin. A bit hypocritical don't you think?

Because he's a hypocrite and as long as he demands harsher treatment for anyone else with an addiction problem than he has received he will continue to be a hypocrite.
Don't ask us to give up our principals simply because you have none.

It wouldn't be a story if it wasn't for Rush's ultra-conservative viewpoints regarding substance abusers, the drug war, ect.
Besides, who cares what this guy spouts off anyway? He's full of it.
