Starter motors cost over $300 US dollars.
To get one rebuilt $150.
Make sure that's the problem before you waste your hard earned money.

If the starter is shot - don't waste too much money with it. The bike is not worth a lot in re-sale but no doubt a lot to you. It has a kick starter just use that. This is a bike with low compression and starting on the kick lever takes no effort what so ever, so just use that. In my opinion why on earth there is a need to put an electric start on a 125 is beyond logic - it is just an extra expense that would be better passed on to the purchaser by way of a saving.

your problem is likely to be the battery or the lead from the battery to the frame not making a good contact. before spending money, clean the contacts and where the lead bolts onto the frame. You may need to charge the battery.
